Translation

Tipitipitipso

There in Mexico we know, they shoot at anything
and sometimes a bar is mucked up for a laugh.
Pablo shoots at glasses, Pedro aims at the waiter,
and, amidst so much confusion, a song is born.

Tipitipitipso with calypso they then start singing:
“Ay-ay, we are Mexicans.”
Tipitipitipso with calypso they then start dancing:
“Ay-ay, we are Mexican.”

Pablo loves to tease girls as he passes by,
he makes promises that we know he will never keep.
One day Pedro found him with the little girl of his heart,
he roped them with his lasso and then dragged them around.

Tipitipitipso with calypso they then start singing:
“Ay-ay, we are Mexicans.”
Tipitipitipso with calypso they then start dancing:
“Ay-ay, we are Mexican.”

Pablo is a great player, he wins and loses like a gentleman,
but to tell the truth he never has a cent.
He steals Pedro's horse and sells it to buy food,
in the end we know well what will happen.

~~~~~
“Ay-ay, we are Mexican.”
'Ay-ay, ay-ay, ay-ay, we are Mexican.'
